Action: Make a decision to incorporate new habits into your daily routine
Listen on audio (01:20)
Your life is already full of habits, some good, some bad. This is a good thing …. but only if the habits are good. If the habit is bad, well, that’s not so good.
Take your mid morning snack. If you’re in the habit of chucking a tub of unsalted nuts in your bag to keep hunger at bay, then this is a fantastic habit. If however, you find yourself hungry with nothing to eat, dropping by the bakery for a danish becomes your daily vice. Giving up the danish will be hard – not only because pastries are much yummier than nuts, but you’ll feel hard done by because you’re giving something up.
Mums are particularly susceptible to being on autopilot and repeat the same habits over and over again. That’s because your head is full, your energy is low and your willpower is dwindling.
But you can use this autopilot mode to your advantage. The key to long-term success in your mum-life is setting up a series of new positive habits and replacing the bad ones. The good news is, you can manipulate your subconscious mind to create them.
In this course, I’ll show you how.
