Action: Find a place to call your own and retreat to it often
It’s easy to see your home as a place of work. A place where you’re always rushing, always frantically trying to get things done, a place where you tell your kids the same thing 100 times a day, a place where you sometimes feel frustrated or angry or sad.
But there are special places in your home that you can transform into a sanctuary – if only in your mind. You actually don’t have to change the space that much, you simply have to look at it in a different way.
Find a special place and make this place your own. Let it be somewhere where you can go to rest, relax, heal, think and be you. Retreat to it often, if only for 5 minutes.
